Keep in mind that USB is the worst way to play PS2 games on original hardware because it is slower than a DVD is. You have to consult your modchip docs about loading ELF files from USB, and you have to start OPL from it so you could play off USB. Pretty sure FMCB is up to 1.966, and OPL 1.0.0 just came out a few weeks ago. It's pretty easy to update your existing FMCB memcard, just download and unzip the latest FMCB and OPL to a USB drive, then use uLaunchElf to run the FMCB installer and copy the new OPL to your memcard. I want to install Free MCBoot so I don't have to deal with this PSX/USB/HDloader.elf routine anymore and just immediately boot from the PS2 home menu. Thanks #1 Dec 25, 2011.

v0.97 of the Installer has been released by developer sp193, FMCB & Installer has been updated and built with the latest PS2SDK and a number of changes as outlined in the changeslogs that developer Aldostools was kind enough to post for us and alert us of this latest release.
